Do not frequent some certain default subs if you don't wanna get banned while criticizing Wikipedia on Reddit. There's a mod who's been abusing their powers by censoring anyone on sight if they criticize Wikipedia in any way.

So far according to the experiences of mine and others like bbb23sucks, spurious bans have been observed at /r/technology /r/tech, and /r/inthenews. Through some digging such as finding out claims and posts by others, /u/abrownn is the most likely culprit of the spurious bans.
The compiled sub list is the same as the one listing all subs abrownn is currently moderating, sans /r/worldnews since it's harder for abrownn to silence people off than other smaller subs because there's too many eyes watching over there. Regardless, please exercise due diligence if you want to criticize Wikipedia in these subs (such as make many posts and comments about mundane topics before talking about Wikipedia).
Please post screenshots of the banning messages either on here or on the likes of X/Mastodon/Bluesky with the hashtags #Bannedfromasubreddit AND #Wikipediacriticism if any readers ever encounter such spurious bans in the future. Do not talk about the bans on Reddit itself since it will violate the "no community interference" rule.

This was the earlier ban by /r/technology on a now-closed personal account after posting anti-Wikipedia stuff there.

You can post on alt subs like stupidpol, TrueAnon, etc.
"Globally banned" since September 5, 2023 for exposing harassment.

That's right. Besides that, major Jewish community subs have become anti-Wikipedia beachheads on Reddit ever since the exposure of the Holocaust distortions on Wikipedia two years ago.

UPDATE: Abrownn has reached out and denied any involvement of the spurious bans. The post thread will get retracted once hard proofs confirming their claim(s) are received.
