Because a woman can have a penis. That this is the sticking point for so many people is an education problem, not an ideological one. If you're uncomfortable sharing a changing room with a woman who has a penis then that's a you issue, not an issue for women who don't meet your arbitrary standard of femininity.

It's a tiny minority. You aren't Graham "Glinner" Linehan, whose brains were turned to mush through Irish Catholicism, or booze, or losing his ability to be funny, who got so deep in anti-trans activism that his wife (who is the sister of Peter Serafinowicz*) walked.

I see the trans wars as a GOP game to break the weakest link in the long gay chain so they can go on to destroy gay marriage and then finally drive everything back to 1932. This follows their dream to drive race relations back to 1842.


*So he burned his bridges with British comedy on two levels; he can't be hired to write sitcoms, and he can't talk to the people he used to hang around with.

It is a slutty waste of political capital on a very unpopular issue.

Look we all knew “that girl”, the drag queen who lived as a woman and everyone humored her but she was a gay man, lots of these transgenders are AMAB “transbians”.

Now we have heterosexual men accessing lesbian beds and it don’t seem right after marching for something good to get served this many years later.

I didn’t march for this and most AFAB lesbians my agE would likely say the same.

These people should get their own movement and see how far it goes instead of glomming onto ours. This image sums up my feeling about it among other things:
