'Non-partisan' is a PR phrase, much in the same vein as 'neutral'. People only take this pose when they want to signal objectivity without actually committing to that much-higher standard.journo wrote: ↑Thu May 15, 2025 11:36 amI do agree with you it should be led by a non-partisan though, and that was a reasonable suggestion. Regardless, even though they are very partisan in talk pages, they allow differing views and angles maybe contrary to their own on politics, unlike Infogalactic/Metapedia etc. Dunno how much long that'll last.

Metapedia is an outright Holocaust-denial site run by neo-Nazis tied to Arktos Media. I reported on it in 2017, and it isn't a pretty sight (one of the "Holocaust revisionist scholars" had a color photo of a mangled corpse as a self-portrait.)journo wrote: ↑Thu May 15, 2025 11:36 am

Still think you could, and should, write a book about "fringe" wikis like Metapedia, RW and Conservapedia. They don't seem to have enough money for libel suits. If Isaacson can put out a somewhat-honest book about Musk, you can write about the likes of Lagerström and Trent Toulouse.
You already have a basic framework--something even their operators don't claim to know. Schlafly is so insane he will probably deny the earth goes around the sun.
