Am 21. März 2019 wird die deutschsprachige Wikipedia für 24 Stunden aus Protest gegen die geplante EU-Urheberrechtsreform nicht erreichbar sein.

Trouwens, een dezer dagen komt Katherine Maher, CEO van WMF, hiervoor naar Brussel voor besprekingen met de Transatlantic High Level Working Group on Content Moderation Online and Freedom of Expression.

That will be a great help. Jan. Katherine is coming to Europe, so everything will be solved in no time. Because if the CEO of the America based Wikimedia foundation is in the house not only Jullie Read but every MEP too will vote against article 13 I suppose.

This is a huge missed opportunity - they could have voted to shut the whole thing down permanently, and I'll bet they would've easily cleared 50 percent. And this follows similar one-day shutdowns (that could have been permanent if they'd just put some @$#%&!! effort into it) a few months ago, in Italy, Spain, and Poland.

Never mind, Somey, the German government will do that for them. If a authoritative newspaper as Frankfurter Algemeine speaks of undermining the democracy with false arguments is that the strongest sign and warning there is. Because this kind of newspapers, just like our NRC, are what you can say the government,so short are the lines. And if WMF wants to play a powergame with the German government just as they tried with the Europarlement just let them. Because that will end very bad for them.

Europe is a very confusing and mysterious continent, a minefield. And you can only survive in Europe if you know exact where the mines are situated. Europa isn't so different from Russia and China as your think, it has only a more friendly character, but deep inside it is the same. Something what WMF is now going to learn in the hard way, or better, in a extreem hard way,....
