Am 21. März 2019 wird die deutschsprachige Wikipedia für 24 Stunden aus Protest gegen die geplante EU-Urheberrechtsreform nicht erreichbar sein.

220 German Wikipedians made this decision. Speaking of using Wikipedia as a instrument to reach your political goals with a one issue drunk student party what will be disappeared after the next elections.

Madam Julia Reda retweeted:

What other proof do you want wiki's are highjacked by some shitty Pirate Party kids? 220 persons of the millions European people start a action to influence the European politics. And, that is the worst of all, that MEP's are not crazy, they understand very well what is going on so now we are stuck up with all kind of draconian internet laws in Europe. Yesterday I tried to view a link Eric gave, but now, not available in the EU. And they make it in this way everything worser an worser, because no government in the world will accept this! Wait what will happen if this laws are implanted, it will and up in a European intranet. Thanks to Romaine and Gelach and Dimi and the rest of the "Brussel Pirate Party Advocating Group". And a bunch of American bloody fools who have no idea about the very complex Europa. You can't conquer europe in a pief paf poef way as a Trump cowboy with a few trolling Pirate bay kids! Napoleon tried, Hitler tried, the only who has succeeded more or less for now is Merkel, but for how long.

Call you MEP! Call you MEP! Speaking of astroturfing and a MEP is not free to vote, he or she has a agreement with his or here party. They have to follow there line of the party, they are selected because of there loyalty. Why do you think there're only granddad and granny's MEP's with a long experience in national politics? Partij mastodonten we cal them.
There are specialists and lawyers involved, do you really believe they don't know what is really going on and don't know this are just a few trolling Parate Party kids who are absolute not representing the will of the European voters? This will only fuel the pro party's, look they have a exception, and they are still complaining. That wikipedia exception was a extreem clever move of them, the stronger they protest, the better arguments they have in the national debates what follows!

It's a test, we get to see if blacking out de.Wikipedia will be noticed by anybody. If it is, then that version of Wikipedia still has gravitas - if not, then the writing is on the wall.
A sockpuppet of Strelnikov, without NOW with the Admin powers of Strelnikov.

Small update:

Not 220 users took where involved, but around 140. Count yourself:

https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia ... chtsreform

And the protest? Hardly any. 500 people.

https://www1.wdr.de/nachrichten/rheinla ... n-102.html

And in the Dutch De Kroeg, the Village Pump?

https://nl.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?ti ... a_op_zwart

I think they start to understand how serious the impact of article 13 is.
Special Drmies aka Natuur12 plays a strong role in the discussion.

Overigens kunnen jij en ik gewoon een brief van een advocaat op de mat krijgen als we een inbreuk maken op iemands rechten. Natuur12 (overleg) 10 mrt 2019 12:22 (CET)

Everyone, you and me, who doesn't respect the (copyright) rights of someone has the change to find a letter of a lawyer on his doormat, according to Natuur12 aka.
As a answer to Trollobotje, a guy who seems to be a "lawyer".

You are right Encycloon, something I warned for from 2012 on.
Wave your hand to wikipedia, bye bye Wikipedia!

That will be a great help. Jan. Katherine is coming to Europe, so everything will be solved in no time. Because if the CEO of the America based Wikimedia foundation is in the house not only Jullie Read but every MEP too will vote against article 13 I suppose.

More black outs:

https://da.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia ... tsdirektiv

The Danish wiki.

Dimitar Dimitrov og Allison Davenport (hhv. wikimedianer i Bruxelles og policy fellow hos Wikimedia Foundation) har redegjort dybdegående for problematikkerne i to artikler, men jeg vil hurtigt opsummere dem her: https://wikimediafoundation.org/2019/02 ... reform/ote

Hurray for The Pirate Part .(I can read very easy Danish.) See this blogpost to understand the problems.

Midsize Jake wrote:This is a huge missed opportunity - they could have voted to shut the whole thing down permanently, and I'll bet they would've easily cleared 50 percent. And this follows similar one-day shutdowns (that could have been permanent if they'd just put some @$#%&!! effort into it) a few months ago, in Italy, Spain, and Poland.

Never mind, Somey, the German government will do that for them. If a authoritative newspaper as Frankfurter Algemeine speaks of undermining the democracy with false arguments is that the strongest sign and warning there is. Because this kind of newspapers, just like our NRC, are what you can say the government,so short are the lines. And if WMF wants to play a powergame with the German government just as they tried with the Europarlement just let them. Because that will end very bad for them.

Europe is a very confusing and mysterious continent, a minefield. And you can only survive in Europe if you know exact where the mines are situated. Europa isn't so different from Russia and China as your think, it has only a more friendly character, but deep inside it is the same. Something what WMF is now going to learn in the hard way, or better, in a extreem hard way,....
