The CBC finally noticed the 2018 Donna Strickland AFD mess:

Best part? Bradv was just an ordinary addicted deletionist patroller in 2018. After he survived that screaming match, he became an administrator, checkuser and oversighter.....

And became an arbitrator last year.

The fucking "encyclo-thing" has always been, and still is, run by petty nitwits and rule-book-throwers. Bullshit artists fail upwards: the classic Jimbo Wales "management scheme". Wikipedia is no different from any other corrupt and incompetent government bureaucracy. With the added horrors of its inbuilt faux-Stalinist "cult of personality" around Jimbo and his dedicated supporters.
I would go thru Bradv's history and try to figure out his real identity, but he went to very great lengths to cover it up. Even used a "username usurpation" in January 2018 to destroy his previous edit history. He knows exactly what he's doing, the little shit.
There was a Wikipediocracy thread at the time, which soon degenerated into moronic namecalling. As one expects of them.

And who is "they"? In this case it's Bradv. The smug little rule-waving wikiprick, responsible for the Strickland AFD, wrote a long and pretentious "pseudo-apology" for the Signpost. And thus managed to slime his way out of any on-wiki punishment."They're welcoming new people who've never edited Wikipedia, and they're editing at these events," she said. "But then after all of that's done, after these pages are finally added, they have to double back and do even more work to make sure that the article doesn't get deleted after being added."
