interesting standout in the form of contributor Corn cheese, apparently in Oklahoma:
i can't get the damned thing to embed:

You can't hotlink images at Wikipedia .. also it's actual dimension are 4k which is larger than we allow for uploads

PS: Jimbo's "Bad Images List" from 2008 is
still there, and still being updated and managed. Selected some random files--all of them came up and are publicly visible. It has to be one of the ugliest collections of amateur porn and other "stuff" on the entire internet.

Such "quality images"
Let's see if Shankbone is still hanging around.....he was, until 2016. Since then he logged in just to release all his Commons photos to public domain. Perhaps, maybe he's had enough of the Wiki-Luv. Many of his celeb photos from the early 2000s are outdated anyway AND are often out of focus, grainy, or underexposed. He did so much good work for the "movement"! Ha ha ha ha

when you're dealing with the level of celebrity of... Simon Schama, maybe it's particularly hard to get a photograph.
