I hereby add 'Meta" and "Twitter" to the list of websites for the "incredibly stupid"

Acording to Musk Twitter is losing $4 million a day which annualizes to $1.4 Billion per annum.

Happens to be that Musk, along with Justin Beiber, use Twitter to make noise; mostly to fake accounts but mostly to the a pandering news media primed to generate revenue from smack-talk, fanboys, and excitement.

Musk could have easily built a platform and financed it though a SPAC with a software development budget in the millions!;

Oh SNAP! Trump lent his "brand" to "Truth Social" and did not have to do much of anything - and guess what; Truth Social will be followed by a pandering mob of yobs who will buy the "MAGA" product no matter what; with a pandering news media primed to generate revenue from smacktalk, fanboys, and excitement.

What is a social network really worth in the long term? Not much! Aside from Justin Bieber These platforms derive most of their value from a "Single person." Facebook derives money from the elderly and housebound. Ticktok and Youtube derive revenue from soft-porn and dog tricks.

But even if Trump is invited back to Twitter, he's reportedly talked privately about being in a precarious business situation that makes it difficult to re-join.

They aren't "entirely wrong"; I have seen repeated reports claiming that Facebook is a major reason for the savage political polarization of this country in the past 10 years. If not THE major reason. No other social media site has as many furious, over-50 people ranting about "owning the libs", "Trump is our hero", "vaccines/Fauci/etc are satanic", and "Joe Biden is a pedo/murderer/gas-price-raiser" blah blah. I'm quite sure that Zuckerberg and his top minions directly encouraged this on their system.

Go and look at Reddit's r/hermancainaward for endless examples. Nearly all of the shitposting about evil vaccines, horse paste, and Trump were found on Facebook. Shitposting by over-50 people who later developed COVID. With many deaths ensuing.

You can't use Twitter as a means to denounce Twitter and social media in general. It would be akin to staring a Facebook group called, "I hate Facebook" and then spend 10 hours a day on Facebook posting messages about how rotten it is.
