Subreddits for WP criticism

As an experiment I opened a "new" subreddit. Let's see how long it lasts. Go and post something.

https://old.reddit.com/r/wikipediacriticism

Mostly because all the "WP criticism" subreddits that previously existed were either taken over, shut down, or went off the rails. I made a list and put it there, it probably isn't a complete list, but better than nothing.

I started r/WikipediaAdmins a few months ago. My aim was to make a Wikipedia criticism sub with the appearance of neutrality. Maybe make an occasional positive post or get an admin to post. The idea is that people are less likely to reject the information as from being people who are "just trolls" or "rightfully banned".

Added it, thanks. It's REALLY difficult to attract Redditors to "arcane subjects" like this, isn't it? The only way (so far) has been to get the undesirable attention of the incel-rageboy-gamer cohort, by using left-leaning squabbles as bait.

Which reminds me: I've tried to search for anything about Tamzin's RFA and subsequent WP "activities" on Reddit. Nothing appears on any search I can think of. Is Reddit still "unofficially Wiki-safespace" or whatever you want to call it?

There is a possibility of tapping Jewish userbase due to the unfixed Holocaust distortions.

I'll make Bbb a moderator of the subreddit.

Anyone else want to go in there and moderate? Better too many mods than not enough....and DON'T FORGET, POST SOMETHING!

I'm familiar with Reddit and have moderated decent-sized subReddits in the past. I've created a Reddit account specifically for Wikipedia-related topics: FightForWikipedia. Count me in, happy to help out with moderation.

You should probably add r/WikipediaSucks to the list as well.
