My best advice is to let go. Wikipedia is fundamentally broken. Don't believe them, especially their insults at you.

What about ferret, who described my quotation from User:Sfoskett stating: "NOTICE I quit contributing to Wikipedia in 2011 after getting fed up with the petty arguments among admins and editors, the focus on arcane fanboy nonsense rather than actual real-world things, and the general lack of interest in preventing vandalism of content. I will not reply to your messages and requests. Enjoy your picture show." as uncivil?

I don't like Wikipedia too, especially as how fancrufty articles like the TF ones I nominated for deletion were kept, but not improved substantially. But I have no real choice, wikipedia is the only name for centralized knowledge that has really made a dent on the internet.

Wikipedia in general needs to be rebuilt from the ground up to emphasize quality over quantity and make it harder for vandals to evade blocks by making it account only and tying the username to a gov id through stripe to enforce the 1 account per person rule.

I've had some good relationships with Oshwah that I don't want to throw away.

If you like someone on Wikipedia, then get to know them outside of Wikipedia. If you really, really need to edit, then try editing a small wiki.

How long will it take for wikipedia to be gone completely, I'm afraid that my commons contributions might be gone along with them.

As for the other WMF wikis, they are basically irrelevant, even their website admits it.
