The WP editor had been indeffed. He used a sock handle to remove his name and birthday that had been included in his profile at the long-term abusers page. Favonian re-added the information (and blocked the sock).

That's very odd. Do you know if there was an allegation of conflict of interest editing?

there is no allegation of COI editing. there is accusation of large scale vandalism and obsession with a particular person (a priest). But i think the doxxing was done because of this reason:

Impersonification of admins of those wikis, jawiki and zhwiki in particular, both in their usernames and in their real names (if known).
