Oh please.

Even if you didn't want to own your own hardware, you could have stood up an instance on AWS with a Drupal buildout and used Discourse. You were lazy and stupid and you paid for it.

I showed ProBoards all of the crap that Eric's been spewing over the years and laid out the nearly inevitable future of some aggrieved party showing up at their door with a subpoena.

ProBoards did what any reasonable provider would do. They excised the cancer.

Let him. I'm not on Twitter, did he deny that he is/was Orac as well? [I checked the Twitter messages; he never mentioned Orac.]

I answered your queries on the other board....Gorski ranting on Twitter is just the sort of stuff he does. He has been on Wikipedia ten years, thinks he is online royalty at this point.

As I said on Auggie's forum:

1) there are far too many little things connecting Gorski to the MastCell account. Dr. Rath is a crank, but his blog editors got Gorski's goat a very long time ago: www4.dr-rath-foundation.org/THE_FOUNDATION/wiki_rath/introducing_mastcell.html

2) Gorski has lied before to win "arguments".

3) Christ that guy is an annoyance. No wonder he was so friendly with Mathsci.

4) it is quite possible that he shares the MastCell account with a couple of "skepricks"--the guy spends so much time screaming at people on the Internet it's amazing he has time to have an actual "career in medicine".

5) Jinkinson/Everymorning is unquestionably J. Payne Smith. Again, too many coincidences to dismiss.

6) you will note that Strel did not get very deeply into the ongoing "little problem" the skeptical world currently has with misogyny. That's another massive and ugly story and deserves its own coverage.

I could go on further, but I believe this has been covered adequately. Presumably HRA1924 is getting the point by now.

At Strelnikov's blog, I saw the crap comment from the anonymous poster that claimed to be Jzg. It well may be him but it could be any of a million joejobbing trolls as well.

I think this Mastcell person has been solidly identified (note: not "doxxed").

I remember reading at his talkpage where he ruminated about how his Wikipedia interests have changed. He said essentially "I've realized I enjoy the administrative side and blocking editors more than what I did previously."
