Many thanks Strel. I had actually forgotten I'd even written it.
Minor word issue: "variable" should be "verifiable". Well spotted Sashi.
On re-reading, I'm not sure that sentence is as good as it could be at conveying their intended meaning, but I'm stuck for an alternate right now, so open to suggestions.
