For those not in the know, Great Ape Niggy ran 90 subreddits, i.e. single-topic forums on Reddit, all of them banned because they were either neo-Nazi or racist (he ran r/AltRight, r/coontown, r/N1GGERS, etc.) His real name is Micheal (note the spelling) Anthony George; he was at the 2017 "Unite the Right" rally/riot both days, taking part in the tiki torch march at the University of Virginia the night before. The Anonymous Comrades Collective found out who he was because George has been running a group called "Tennessee Nationalists" that was aligned with nascent "National Justice Party" that imploded this summer; all of their membership details were on a computer list, and that data made it to anti-racist activists. The article is full of photos of Micheal Anthony George from his Army days to his street work for the Tennessee Nationalists, plus his arrest record for beating his wife. He's been repeatedly banned off many social media sites for promoting Nazism.

Look at their article -- he's been chunky since his days in the US Army as an enlisted Patriot missile support guy. His entire intellectual life has been about promoting Nazism and it's gone nowhere. He is a sad case because all he has left is the street violence, which is the position of many of the people that the ACC exposes, outside of that "White Art Collective" that's making dogwhistle art and music.

He seems like a thoughtless, lumpen prick.

I can understand the general conservative viewpoint. There's a lot wrong with 'liberal', corporate-friendly, media-driven pop culture and those who relish or thrive in it. Yet advocating FGM/rape and glorifying senseless violence does not improve the status quo. It reinforces a bad stereotype and sets an even poorer example.

Perhaps this should be posted on r/redditcritiques. Not that anyone actually looks at it anymore.....
