And now so is the Mooch.. wow that was fast!
He couldn't do the fandango, I guess.

The Mooch: Do not let me go!
TRUMP: I let him go.

And those "MAGA CHUDs" (as the Chapo Trap House crew would call them) over at Reddit's r/The_Donald subreddit either thought that constantly changing the government was good because "it confuses liberals" or they have a link to black conservative show host Wayne Dupree tweeting "Did anybody notice that there were no leaks of the Scaramucci firing?", i.e. he got rid of the leakers and his "job" was "done" before it even started.

That Reddit forum is like smoking crack....

Have you seen the article about the Congressional staffer using The Donald subreddit to crowdsource a potential piece of legislation?

Yes I'd heard about that mindless idiocy. Conservatives used to lean on Russell Kirk and Edmund Burke; now they lean on a bunch of sockpuppets, cryptofascists, and trolls.

Robert Reich talking to alleged ex-Congressman Republican friend:

Me: What’s going on? Seems like the White House is imploding and Republicans are going down with the ship.

Him (chuckling): We’re officially a banana republic.

Me: Seriously, what are you hearing from your former colleagues on the Hill?

Him: They’re convinced Trump is out of his gourd.

Me: So what are they gonna do about it?
Him: Remember what I told you at the start of this circus? They planned to use Trump’s antics for cover, to get done what they most wanted – big tax cuts, rollbacks of regulations, especially financial. They’d work with Pence behind the scenes and forget the crazy uncle in the attic.

Me: Yeah.

Him: Well, I’m hearing a different story now. Stuff with Sessions is pissing them off. And now Trump’s hired that horse’s ass Scaramucci – a communications director who talks dirty on CNN! Plus Trump’s numbers are in freefall. They think he’s gonna hurt them in ’18 and ’20.

Me: So what’s the plan?

Him: They want him outa there.

Me: Really? Impeachment?

Him: Doubt it, unless Mueller comes up with a smoking gun.

Me: Or if he fires Mueller.

Him: Not gonna happen.

Me: So how do they get him out?

Him: Put someone else up in ’20. Lots of maneuvering already. Pence, obviously. Cruz thinks he has a shot.

Me: But that won’t help them in the midterms. What’s the plan before then?

Him: Lots think he’s fritzing out.

Me: Fritzing out?

Him: Going totally bananas. Paranoia. You want to know why he fired Priebus, wants Sessions out, and is now gunning for Tillerson?

Me: He wants to shake things up?

Him (chuckling): No. The way I hear it, he thinks they’ve been plotting against him.

Me: What do you mean?

Him: Twenty-fifth amendment! Read it! A Cabinet can get rid of a president who’s nuts. Trump thinks they’ve been preparing a palace coup. So one by one, he’s firing them.

Me: I find it hard to believe they’re plotting against him.

Him: Of course not! It’s ludicrous. Sessions is a loyal lapdog. Tillerson doesn’t know where the bathroom is. That’s my point. Trump is fritzing out. Having manic delusions. He’s actually going nuts.

Me: And?

Him: Well, it’s downright dangerous.

Me: Yeah, but that still doesn’t tell me what Republicans are planning to do about it.

Him: Look. How long do you think it will be before everyone in Washington knows he’s flipping out? I don’t mean just weird. I mean really off his rocker.

Me: I don’t know.

Him: No all that long.

Me: So what are you telling me?

Him: They don’t have to plot against him. It will be obvious to everyone that he’s got to go. That’s where the twenty-fifth amendment really does comes in.

Me: So you think…

Him: Who knows? But he’s losing it fast. My bet is he’s out of office before the midterms. And Pence is president.

***

If real, it confirms things Senator Al Franken has said months prior about how the GOP Senators have been rumbling-grumbling about Trump's actions, but they say nothing publicly due to Republican party discipline. Pence is the last solid GOP person they have left in the White House - Jared Kushner is a boring NYC Democrat, Steve Bannon politically is from another dimensional plane, Tillerson is a clod, Betsy DeVos is a Republican-Libertarian with no electoral experience and no good at her job (watch as the college student loan jury-rig finally collapses under her watch), the HUD Secretary is a somnambulist.

That Robert Mueller now has a grand jury going doesn't help either.

This is a government that totters from weakness to weakness.

The mosquitoes will probably weaken him enough for the crocs to get him, but he could still survive the swamp long enough to manage something of real value. He has come back from failures before. I think he is already reinvigorating politics. It's better than the Hilary Show. His stance against the global warming psychosis could see the USA make economic progress at everyone else's expense. I mean really, the human contribution to global warming is just a clever theory until we guinea pigs start suffering one way or another, from the medicine or from the disease. We'll just have to wait a hundred years or so to find out about the science, and meanwhile the USA is going to make money.

https://www.themarysue.com/stephen-miller-makes-me-sad/

After watching Twitter drag Miller over both his statements and his general creepiness, I realized I didn’t know that much about him. And friends, I really should have left it that way. I should not have googled. I should not have Wikipedia’d. Because this man’s entire existence is so, so sad.

His entire Wikipedia entry is really short (he’s only 31, after all), yet every line in it is more depressing than the one before it.

To start, I cannot even imagine how his liberal, Jewish parents in Santa Monica, California must feel when they read their son shares and “ideological kinship” and a “long collaboration” with Steve Bannon.

Stephen Miller is the worst kid you grew up with, the most annoying boy in your neighborhood, who heard his unle or someone once say something racist and then never stopped parodying it back to everyone he met. He turned conservative at the age of 12 when he read Guns, Crime, and Freedom, a dated, racist, argumentatively anecdotal book about how democrats basically use the Constitution as toilet paper, written by the CEO of the NRA.

He clearly enjoyed being “politically incorrect” (read: being a trolling little racist shitweasel). He would allegedly tell Latino students at his high school to speak English. He also reportedly called a friend the summer before starting high school to defriend him, giving the boy a play-by-play of all the reasons the friendship was ending, including his “Latin heritage.”) After 9/11, he wrote to a local paper, saying that because of his school’s “pacifist” response, “Osama Bin Laden would feel very welcome at Santa Monica High School.”

Re: The_Donald subreddit

I've been following these scummy guys for a while and some fun things have been going on.

1. The subreddit (forum) grows like kudzu in the South; right at this moment that forum has 479,319 members and 32,586 are online. How do they get these numbers? 'Bots and sockpuppets are a theory, but then something odd happened to me - I was banned from The_Donald months ago and then suddenly I was subscribed. I have no idea how long I was a unwitting MAGA-jackass because I'm not on that site every day. I have the crazy idea that they are taking all the banned people and making them members to boost numbers, hoping that most of those banned people have a large number of favorite subreddits and that they won't notice.

2. The number of news stories they allow to be run has shrunken greatly. There are about twenty-three submissions (mostly links to pro-Trump or Rightwing news stories) and two "pinned" submissions on the subreddit right now. It used to be much larger even three months ago, mostly due to the fact that Fox News and the various online Right news websites have turned on Trump, and it's getting harder to find anything possibly vaguely pro-far Right now supporting Trump in the aftermath of the Charlottsville car killing. The very hard death of the Daily Stormer didn't help.

3. "spez" aka Steve Huffman (Reddit co-founder/CEO) will not shut the forum down. Why? Because the active members buy "Reddit gold" for each other, i.e. they pay for a portion of Reddit's server fees and they get to go to this hidden subreddit called "The_Lounge." But the important bit is the server time.....there was this violent Anarcho-Capitalist subreddit called r/physical_removal which is built around the crazy ideas of Hans-Herman Hoppe*, extreme Libertarian and accidental founder of the Dark Enlightenment, who pushed for small neo-feudal states ("covenant communities") where you could kick out or kill the gays, communists, whomever your goon leadership disliked. After Charlottsville, that subreddit was INSTANTLY BANNED. The 8700+ members were made "homeless" after a few keystrokes....although they were Pinochet-loving turds who used helicopters dumping dissidents into the ocean as a joke-motif, so no great loss.

4. I don't think this will end well - Trump is facing future impeachment (papers have already been drafted), Paul Manafort and Michael Flynn and Felix Sater have possibly flipped and are giving the FBI everything they know about Trump's dealings (including possible money-laundering during the campaign), and the actual humans of The_Donald are going to go apeshit if he gets removed or resigns. There will be a purge on Reddit of all the pro-Trump people if that happens and the conflict may destroy the website.

I do want to add that The_Donald originally was a project of the nutball far-Rightist supertroll /u/jcm267 aka /u/nolibs, who pretty much lived on Reddit for seven years and produced nearly 100 sockpuppets to keep up his war with supporters of Ron Paul and Reddit Libertarians. He's still out there on Reddit under yet another handle.

Didn't The_Donald go dark for part of a day because they got in Reddit-trouble for something?

Yes, on the 20th of May they crossed some sort of line and Reddit switched the forum "off" for X-number of hours, then turned it back on. I can't find any mentions outside of The_Donald itself.

I heard about it on Twitter. The_Donald was going to go dark in protest for 24 or 48 hours after they got the forum back. They ended their protest early and a gave reason like "popular demand."
