VeriSign ripping off .com registrants

This is an old story--I remember people complaining about their predecessor Network Solutions also overcharging back in the late 1990s. They try to get away with it, someone reams them for it, they back off, they try again later....

Can confirm: they are currently charging me $90/year for metasonix.com. Most other companies would charge $40-60.
