So predictable.
Has everyone got their fucks out now? FUCK FUCK FUCK. I'm saving the rest of mine for a political rally later.

There's nothing that any sensible admin is going to do here, and dredging out this "fuck is a bad word" discussion again is just going to hurt feelings, and distract us from building an encyclopedia. Everyone go expand two references. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 16:52, 31 May 2019 (UTC)
Can't even do people the courtesy of acknowledging the complaint was about being told to "fuck off", not the mere utterance of "fuck".

As I just wrote in reference to the snivelling coward Jayron32 for refusing to even tell a colleague that it is unacceptable to falsely accuse an editor of vandalism.......

These people genuinely act surprised when they get shit. How? They couldn't be asking for it more.

You don't want your time wasted? Don't try to normalize behaviour that is always going to generate a reaction. If you don't care to hear these complaints at AN/I, the people being deliberately offended, with the clear consent of the Wikipedia Administrators, will find other ways to react. Very distracting ways.

The notorious Eric Corbett, currently sort of in semi-retirement, has told two people to fuck off this week alone. I can't help but think he's going to be more than a little disappointed when he finally catches up on what has changed in his absence and realizes it is no longer considered offensive by the Wikipedia community.

The question then will then be, what's he going to start using instead? And how many million hours will be wasted as the fight to get that normalized on Wikipedia swings into full gear? Because let's give credit where it is due, Eric Corbett's dogged refusal to be civil is what ultimately led to "fuck off" becoming accepted in the first place. Editors of a certain disposition (the assholes) were just pissed he could get away with it and they couldn't. So, after much distraction, they finally got their way.

My suggestion for a replacement is "fuck off you cunt". It has the advantage of not taxing his brain much, what with him being familiar with the term already.

Yes, I am talking about you, mister Proabivouac. First I have to make my excuses to mister Viligiant, and when I explane why he is the asshole of the century on auggies RW in a hidden topic you just run strait away and start again about Fæ. Fuck off you assholes, just fuck off! Incivility?

You guys where total wrong about me. Grow some balls instate of your lying, trolling and always denying of the true and turning a blind eye to the situation. Assholes!

A work of great mental stability there, son.

Can you elaborate on how your significant other reacted when you had your psychotic break?
Is this at least partially to blame for why your family treats you as a pariah?

Do they Vig? Do they treat me as a pariah? Are you sure? Well, this is absolute the best advice.

Have a BLP subject specialist, with absolute authority to make changes, deal with claims of inaccuracies or libel in private correspondence with the BLP subject.

Because the system as it is is of course rediciles. Nobody ever has asked any explanation, has asked what had happend and Alexander is on holidays on Hawaii and has a very well paid job at twitter.

And of course are you and the Field Operations Manager (FOM) of the West Coast Autistic Society in no way classified to overrule professional doctors and a official diagnose. In no way, Vig. The two of you have a mental defect yourself, so don't make the fool out of the two of you, don't do that Vig.
Don't put yourself down in this way. Both of you are not licensed, have not spoken with me in person and are autistic. I have explained on WR what the problem was, it had no mental reason. I am mental 100% healthy and strong as hell, son. Conferment by real and good doctors. And I am complete OK with my family, thanks.

it is just a rediciles and laughable claim.

Just fuck off the two of you with your autistic bullshit.
You two are the ones with a mental defect, Vig. Also confirmed by official doctors, otherwise the two of you where not members of that club

Don't twist the true, Vig.

In the fallout from Wikipedia's total failure to enforce its "no personal attacks" policy on Malik Shabbaz because he's a hard working black Jew or some bullshit, is the surprising revelation that if the users know each other and are sharing an in-house joke together (in Britland we call this EPIC BANTZ), they can call each other whatever they like, the personal attack policy is completely void. Even though everything they say on Wikipedia is meant for worldwide public consumption (whether they like it or not, it's a basic fucking fact), it is assumed that all readers will understand and accept that the language used is just BANTZ.

Sam Walton: I am very glad you unblocked; thank you. Having edited with both Nableezy and Nishidani (and Malik) for over a decade, I know they all three have the utmost respect for each other. They also all use a language to each other that I don't always approve of, but that is their business. This is like two Afro−Americans friends calling each other the "n−word": I might not like it, but it is not my job (as a white person) to try to stop that, Huldra (talk) 20:52, 2 June 2019 (UTC)
How ridiculous is that?

Even accounting for your disability of being a "white person", is it not perhaps beholden on you as a Wikipedia editor to realize when you're being a fucking moron?

Ah, Wikipedians......
And as a general principle, complaints of incivility by parties who aren't the recipient should almost never be entertained — Amakuru (talk) 21:32, 9 July 2019 (UTC)
What a bunch of clueless fucks they really are.

As for the community......
About Amakuru
I've been a member of Wikipedia since February 2006, and I was promoted to administrator in April 2016.
....you better own that shit.

It's way too easy for people to hide who they really are from character assessing processes like RfA. Or more likely in this case, far too easy for people to sail through character assessments without facing highly pertinent questions. Not one of the fifteen questions posed on their RfA even touched on his views on civility enforcement. It seems that just because there wasn't any obvious evidence he was an uncivil editor, it was just sort of assumed he was competent to ensure the standard is enforced properly, as per the policy.

I see no future for Wikipedia without the Foundation making full use of their absolutely necessary power to unilaterally behead certain power users who are so blatantly off-message as this. What else would correct the problem illustrated? Is he gonna fix it himself? Is he gonna conduct an RfC to align policy with his bullshit? No, obviously not. Veterans like this guy, and RexxS, they don't magically change their views on civility after a decade of editing as a normal editor. They accept the community's trust as Administrators, and promptly Administrate according to their personal codes, not the policy.

Autonomous self-government in action.......

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?ti ... ser:Amaury

At 17:21, 17 July 2019 (UTC) the user Amaury, a ten year veteran, was reported to the Administrators for a long term pattern of incivility. The reporting user had already tried to raise the issue with Amaury, but was simply blown off.

Three and a half hours since the filing, four editors have responded, and the consensus is three to one that Amaury has been a dick, and the specific circumstances don't help him one bit according to the established Wikipedia manual of how to escape a civility sanction (his pattern is instant aggression against innocent n00bs). Corrective action is being called for. The one dissenter, presumably a friend, simply wants the response to be "warn and move on".

You know who hasn't responded yet? A single fucking Administrator. You know who also hasn't responded yet? Amaury. He has been notified of the report, he just apparently thinks he has nothing to answer for, since he has been happily editing away ever since.
