As ever, we are left wondering how on Earth people this fucking crazy, are even allowed to become experienced Wikipedia editors. How are they not banned, as soon as their unsuitability to an intellectual environment, becomes this obvious?
Equating a common sense hypothesis for the lab leak theory, whether right or wrong, with holocaust denial, is not just insanely hyperbolic, if not just insane, it's antisemitic.
We are also seeing confirmation here as to why someone as prone to inflammatory rhetoric as Guy Macon is, was at least prevented from becoming a Wikipedia Administrator. But we are also seeing why a scumlord flamethrowing bastard like Guy Chapman, who did somehow beat the system to become an Admin and all round Nazi baiter who is probably also a closet Nazi, thinks Macon would make a perfect Admin.
How then, to square the circle of why this person's fact free bullshit was allowed to form the mainstay of the Daily Mail ban? A person who uses phrases like "kill it with fire" (which perhaps speaks very well to his likely antisemitic leanings).
Easy. The Daily Mail ban is not about the reliability of the newspaper, it's all about their political position. Which the left leaning Wikishits, really don't like, it being the most right wing newspaper in the greatest democracy in the world.
It didn't matter how crazy, vitriolic or fact free the arguments in support of the "kill it with fire" campaign were. Only that they were in support.
This is Wikipedia.
Reason is not what they do. Enabling people like Guy Macon to be the very worst version of a pseudo intellectual you have ever met, is what these people are all about.
And I suppose, when you can't get actual intellectuals interested in your shitehole, what other option did they have?

The WP article on Holocaust denial is pretty good but omits critical details that, as far as I know, haven’t been addressed by “reliable sources.” Catch 22, sure to get you blocked!

If it was a lab leak, can China or the lab be sued?
