and 20 years later, people continue to insist that it was an attempt to "kill off" acts of a "subversive nature" the Republican-dominated company didn't like. System Of A Down, Drowning Pool, and Rage Against The Machine are most prominently mentioned. "Oh it was only a suggestion". What a stupid industry, constantly trying to pull censorship and denying their censorship at the same time.
