Christmas in Lake County often goes like this.

Note this part. Mr. Fugit has been locally notorious for at least 20 years for his conspiracy ravings.
"For several months he has regularly parked his pickup in the downtown – including on Main Street near the Courthouse Museum, just a block over from Campos Casuals – with large cardboard signs mounted on his vehicle complaining of a conspiracy involving the FBI and the government to persecute him. He also has walked around the park and stood at the street corner with similar signs, the messages written in dark marker, attempting to get the attention of motorists and passersby."
Sometimes he fights with people begging for money, and with a local guy who is a Lyndon LaRouche supporter, and with occasional "patriotic Americans supporting their country's foreign excursions" types. Premium street corners can sometimes lead to fistfights.
Lakeport: tiny little town, big-city crazies.
And how was your holiday?

Re: And how was your holiday?
I work in retail. On Christmas Eve, I saw the terrible effects of capitalism and greed as lines went on forever. I had Christmas off, but I have yet to recover. The post-Christmas madness continues. Otherwise, it was okay.
