I cannot help thinking that every article addressing "transgenderism" should bear a cautionary statement to the effect of "
one cannot change their sex and you will make a freakish spectacle of yourself if you attempt to do so".
It's just so gruesome and barbaric. I pity those who suffer from gender dysphoria, but would it not be healthier if such people were encouraged to accept the sex they were born with rather than encourage self-mutilation and delusion?

Just as soon as the glue-sniffers wiki includes a warning to not sniff glue.

Fair point, but nobody is told that they should sniff glue to treat their dysphoria. Or perhaps you mean that Wikipedia is hopelessly slanted in the opposite direction.

Hey, if that bothers you, try poking around in some of the subcategories here. (Hospitals are usually listed only because someone thinks thay are performing some vague form of "conversion therapy", the one thing that triggers rage in trans activists.)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Transgender
I could make "Freak of the week" items about certain transgender people on WP but why bother--they are winning the battle. Too much has already been said about Tamzin and friends.

I think I'll give that a miss.

There's nothing wrong with critiquing their work on substance. Weening doesn't accomplish much, conversely. Seems they have enough problems as it is.

Once again I need to bitch about Jason Moore, aka
Another Believer. Still one of the most deeply embedded cult members I've ever seen. And still one of the most clueless and mechanistic. Still quoting Jimbo on his userpage.
heh on his userpage he takes credit for writing the article on UN Plaza in San Francisco. at least the article is honest about the fountain:
In March 2003, the city fenced off the fountain and temporarily shut off its water to alleviate the daily burden of cleaning used needles and human feces from it.[41] That same month, a working group commissioned by the San Francisco Board of Supervisors published a report recommending the fountain be removed.[3] Ultimately, the Board of Supervisors rejected the 2003 proposal to remove the fountain.[39] The renewed calls to remove the fountain were based on many of the same reasons as those from ten years prior; an article in The New York Times published in 2004 called the plaza "a public toilet, shower, washing machine, brothel, garbage can and drug market all in one".[42]
the bums have used it as a toilet since i lived there. they shouldve removed it when they had the chance tbqh. last i saw it was on Fox News and it was being used as an open air drug market which is appropriate i suppose.

As if the rest weren't enough of a warning. Textbook example of aposematism.
