"The Farms" should be here for their
shitty thread on VE7KFM, aka Canadian amateur radio operator Karol Florian Madera. They utterly back the US hams, even though it's a gang of cops and wanna-cops who hated how Madera would talk in Polish to other hams who spoke the language (there is a bullshit ARRL "rule" about using English for American on-air ham radio conversations, but VE7KFM doesn't fall under that because he isn't American!) You can tell that the original poster knows very little about their alleged hobby because they capitalize HAM, which is like calling an ATM an "ATM machine."
"Ham" used to be what a "lid" operator is today, a term for poor operators.
In that KF thread they do not really recognize that Brian Crow and his confederates went online to smear Madera, that there are a bunch of one-shot, abandoned anti-VE7KFM Wordpress and Blogspot sites, that they used his callsign for the URL of their main attack site VE7KFM.com, that Madera tried to respond online but it was too late. Having heard all the edited, taped jamming done at 3840kHz and
the WARFA net, I don't trust any of the alleged recordings at VE7KFM.com of what allegedly was transmitted on 14.313 and 14.275 kHz - it's been too easy to edit tapes for years. Do I think Madera is the 20 meter band saint? No, he probably said nasty things, after they jammed him or "keyed over" him - I've never heard 30-40 minute tapes of those frequencies, I've only heard that they were "zoo" frequencies to avoid. And I'm not going to make this more complicated by going through
Riley Hollingsworth's involvement more than a decade ago.
Still "Globally Banned" on Wikipedia for the high crime of journalism.
