The distortionists will scream 'joe job!" but there's equally decent chance that it's done by one of those themselves seeing that some form of sanctions (i.e. interaction or topic bans) are inevitable and just to spite Icewhiz as final hurrah.
The same people rule out that the alleged Icewhiz socks were someone else and that even if they weren't it doesn't matter.
Volunteer Marek wrote: Was that Icewhiz or some other random psycho? Does it matter? Icewhiz was the one who posted all that info about my kids. Even if it wasn’t him personally, he made it possible and this was exactly his intent.

They would be kicked out and banned immediately if they ever pull off those shits at Reddit. Last time they did that during the Boston bombings or so, it result in the mis-identification of an innocent man causing his suicide.

Of cource, you can always dial 988 if you have thoughts deemed as harmful after seeing that.

If you don't know, there has been recent drama/fighting over whether human rights abuses should be mentioned in the lead of the Israel article. There was an RfC in January and drama died down, but it has now returned with new fighting.

Don't tell them that their map does not include Palestine.

That's been going on for 20+ years. Israel is like the article on whoever is the current US president--constantly being editwarred and vandalized. Thus it doesn't get BETTER, it just gets longer and longer and more unreadable.

If you wanna see Wikipedia at its most insane, go thru the history of Triggerhippie4. Chances are good that account is being run by someone in the Israeli government. And is being shared by several people. The beast never sleeps, literally.

So that person expects us to believe that they know (well maybe not ALL of these [I couldn't check every single one], but most of the ones I checked showed at least some level of understanding of the language):
  • English,
  • Hebrew,
  • Russian,
  • Ukrainian,
  • French,
  • Spanish,
  • Portuguese,
  • Japanese,
  • German,
  • Chinese,
  • Persian,
  • Czech,
  • Italian,
  • Turkish,
  • Dutch,
  • Polish,
  • Indonesian,
  • Yiddish,
  • Swedish,
  • Malay,
  • Romanian,
  • Korean,
  • Norwegian,
  • Urdu,
  • Vietnamese,
  • Hindi,
  • Bulgarian,
  • Finnish,
  • Arabic,
  • Thai,
  • Javanese,
  • Hungarian,
  • Uzbek,
and many, many more and speak them fluently!? Lol no. And these aren't just simple formatting changes or simple edits that could be made with an online translator, these include many complex edits including natively written edit summaries. There is no way this is one person or even less than ten. Strangely, a large portion of these multilingual changes consist of additions of images and changes to templates.

That's typical of pro-Israel accounts. They also try to control the coverage of Israel in EVERY other language Wikipedia. With wildly varying degrees of success, obviously. It is why I said this is a shared account being used by several people, possibly around the world.

Once again I must post this. RK eventually quit, but he was replaced in 2005-06 by a long list of Jayjg/SlimVirgin-protected sockpuppets. Not to mention Cirt and at least two known Israeli government employees. No doubt there are others. And I continue to suspect pro-Israel operators made a "secret deal" with Jimbo at that time, to allow them to operate "freely".
Note that pro-Israel POV pushing has occurred on Wikipedia since 2001. One of the earliest editors, RK, focused almost entirely on Judaism-related articles, and was repeatedly accused of bias.[1] One of Wikipedia's earliest attempts to adjudicate a settlement, well before the existence of Arbcom, was in July 2003--and involved RK's bias. Indeed, RK's habitual tantrums resulted in the formation of the Arbitration committee and the Mediation system. He was also subjected to two RFCs and two arbitrations. RK left Wikipedia in 2012 after years of declining interest.
They are constantly fucking with, or trying to delete, things like Nuclear weapons and Israel and Shimon Peres Negev Nuclear Research Center. Like America's twisted relationship with Area 51, everyone knows that Israel has a considerable nuclear stockpile--but they officially deny everything. And therefore none of the stuff mentioned in those articles actually "exists". Attempts to insert things like this and this are constantly being fought off.

And this is NOT exclusive to Israel and its WP content. Every authoritarian Muslim government is trying to do the same thing to WP content about their countries. Wiki-Bilim still exists and still controls Kazakh content. Some equally-crazy shit happens in articles about India and Pakistan. Chinese "representatives" fight over the en-WP coverage of China, and the Mandarin-language Wikipedia is usually being censored and locked down by undeclared "representatives". It's routine.

I want to wonder more about the Wikipedia violent demise scenario. Assuming that Arbcom handled it poorly as expected and Cla68's doomsday scenario becomes reality, theoretically could the other language/regional affiliates of WMF secede and join other pedias such as Justapedia and so on?

Grabowski has been a target for threats since his book came out ten years ago. Notice how long this article is? Because Polish nationalists, pro-Jewish editors, and cranks have editwarred it. Result: the bulk of it was written by Piotrus and Icewhiz. Similarly with Grabowski's BLP, which was basically controlled by SlimVirgin and Icewhiz.

Remember, whenever you have to fight off editwarriors with political axes, the article gets longer and more difficult to read. Not "better". So the threats were not necessarily triggered by the Wikipedia paper. The Polish extreme right/nationalism fringe have been "ascendant" lately, so they feel "justified" in going after people like Grabowski now.

Have I said lately that I think Piotrus is a raving nut? Well, there ya go. Look at his userpage, and try to tell us that he isn't a nut.

It's always existed in a violent state of flux, so its demise (IF THERE EVER IS ONE!) will be more of the same. And you keep underestimating the deeply paranoid cultism of Wikipedians. They will fight like crazy to keep it together. Frankly it might be for the best if other language Wikipedias broke away from the degenerate control of the WMF. I continue to doubt this will happen. A true cult is willing to destroy anything and anyone to keep itself in business.

The conclusion of the podcast is
1) Wikipedia will most likely mishandle the "arbitration"
2) If need be, political pressure will be applied to Google

Have I said lately that I think Piotrus is a raving nut? Well, there ya go. Look at his userpage, and try to tell us that he isn't a nut.
Piotrus is a poster boy for Wikipedia; he has all the qualities Wikipedia is looking for;

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Piotrus
I have taught dozens of university-level courses with students submitting writing assignments in form of Wikipedia articles, and I've even developed a course about Wikipedia. Piotrus

Wikipedia - "Barely competent and paranoid. There’s a hell of a combination."
