in Wikimedian Folks Too Embarrassing for Public Viewing
Indeed this is indeed too Embarrassing for Public Viewing. That is the reason Jake and Wikipediocrazy hide this kind of subjects.

This too.
https://medialternatives.com/2019/01/15 ... youre-out/
And in fact this man too.

And this man also.

Do you really think if you keep silent we forget you, WMF? That it will pass? Tell me, about that Jan, the new Lead Manager of Trust and Safety. Longer than a mount after the disappearing of the chief hangman we still didn't hear anything from his "new vision" on safety and trust. Tell, me what are you doing there in LA? And what is this lady exact doing for all that money she gets except some propaganda talk?

Do you want the answer from me?
NOTHING! They all do NOTING! They wait if it will pass and people froget it, and that is all they are doing.

Re: in Wikimedian Folks Too Embarrassing for Public Viewing
Sorry I've been missing, I wasn't using the "other laptop".....
Anyhow, we are reaching a point with the WMF in Europe and America where "the fat lady" will have to sing - they have to deal with copyright issues in the EU, forthcoming legislation (and you know it is coming, Google and the others [*cough* Zuckerberg *cough*] have pushed it too far for too long) in the US once the powers shift. The penny-ante motherf--kers like Drmies and William Beutler and the rest of the remaining pile of hack editors in WikiLand are truly not the important thing - it's gunning for the entire WMF, forcing them to play by real rules and not the gentlemens' agreements from the Clinton era.
A storm is coming.

Still "Globally Banned" on Wikipedia for the high crime of journalism.

I still think you should cover His Highness "The Wikipedian" on your blog.
Allow me to link to older coverage on the WO blog. Otherwise there hasn't been much about him of a critical nature.

As unlikely as it may seem, if you are looking for the equivalent of Zuckerberg in wikiland, in terms of who has been pushing the envelope, it is nobody on the payroll. It is the likes of Drmies and Beutler. Fuck, it is them, if you want a concrete example (the shit they pulled on the Intel CEO biography). That was already against the WMF rules, it didn't matter.Strelnikov wrote:Sorry I've been missing, I wasn't using the "other laptop".....

People on the payroll necessarily have to sit up and take notice, if a rule needs to be changed. They may even change the rule, if a press release doesn't do the job. None of this changes the very obvious fact that unless the rules being changed are the ones that directly impact the ability of Drmies to do what he does, unless it make him fear serious consequences, and I mean serious, then it doesn't change a damn thing, Wikipedia just carries on being what it is.
This is why people like Drmies love Wikipedia. It gives them significant power, with zero accountability or consequences for doing just whatever the fuck they want to do, and fuck the rules. They love nothing more than seeing critics acting like they are the small fry, this is what they tell people they are themselves, for a very good reason.
Wikipediocracy should never have hidden anything on any of these shitbags from public view. Proof positive they are better seen as collaborators, even facilitators, as opposed to actual critics.

Quite right. And Drmies isn't even the worst of them. Some of the robotic deletionist patrollers desperately need medication and psychiatric help, not Wikipedia.

Is it not just a extra checkusers tool Arthur? Because that is what I think, there can't be any other reason. Because as you said and noticed, people just make a account to read the Wiki tabloid what WO is. Somey aka "Jakeass" puts everything what is is sensational in the members only section, so this seems to me only right explanation..

Probably not, since the ops can see your IP even if you don't register.
Really the hidden forum is to keep people from sending takedown notices.

Re: in Wikimedian Folks Too Embarrassing for Public Viewing
I don't think so, Arthur. Getting a private forum down as long it doesn't contain child porn or thinks like that with a is takedown notices is hardly impossible. In Amerika you have the Right of Bill and in Europe you need a court order. So, it pretty meaningless.
Because, in the first place who for the hell should want to get Wikipediocrazy down with all it's stupidity, the extention of the WP Village Pump, and second these kind of fora are hosted the next day in Panama or Serbia and have for sure back ups. it is no Proboard, it should be complete useless to try that.
No, I think it is a attempt to get any username connected to a IP. Or other personal info, because otherwise I can't get the reason. Or to see what IP's someone is using, so you can combine them. No, I think it is a extra CU tool.
