He doesn't hold back on what he thinks......
He goes on to take the piss out of how short the April issue is, by simply pasting it in its entirety into the thread. It's really, really terrible.
And that's it. He didn't say anything else. Doesn't call out any errors, policy violations or dubious reporting (which might have made it slightly more relevant to the topic at hand).
Apparently, short is terrible, in the newsletter game.
Perhaps someone over there might like to point out to Jake the Sellout that this probably doesn't count as fair use? Not that it was a surprise to see a senior Wikipedia editor doesn't understand copyright, as well as basic manners. The two not being unrelated, of course.
What really made me laugh, was that just like when he outed an editor on that forum, it wasn't exactly the topic of this thread, it was only tangentially, barely, related. He just decided, out of the blue, to take it in this wierd direction.
Perhaps he doesn't have the guts to start an actual thread on the nominal topic? Perhaps "HEY GUYZ, LETS ALL LAUGH AT THESE LOSERS WRITING THE WIKIPEDIA WEEKLY" didn't seem like an appropriate title for a Wikipedia criticism forum. Not sure why, it is about their level of analysis and sense of basic mission.
One wonders if anyone will inform the editors that they have just been Beeblebroxed.
