What a load of shit. The Web was never "fun"--right from its raw beginnings in 1994-95 it was full of bullshit, crazy people, and crude attempts to make money and sway public opinion. Mostly this is just another whinefest about Twitter being Musked into the ground. Anyone who thinks Twitter was ever a "great place" is a fool.

Internet was kind of "fun" back in the day when it was more mysterious.
Things were not so easy to find and with fewer content we had a somewhat limit on what we could find. But now it's much easier to find stuff.
