I see our old friend Sashi (old regular on WR and WPO) is messing with it. This article been a major watchpoint for WP insiders since it was started in 2004. Right now is the most accurate it's ever been--asshole admins were removing edits about WP scandals for a long time. Not a complete summary of Wikiscandals but remarkable to see on WP itself.

They can't anymore. Too many media reports of idiot scandals, too many critiques by academic people and journalists. All that stuff added up. It's not like 2008 anymore, when they could deny everything, because The Register was one of the very few media outlets running any reports about Wikipedia insiders doing shit tricks and being generally crazy freaks. "It's only the Register, they're just a bunch of disgruntled code jockeys" or somesuch.

Plus bear in mind: the book about Wikipedia's early history I helped to research, will never see the light of day--because Jimbo is notoriously prone to making legal threats. None of the publishers or agents we contacted would touch it.

Hilarious attitude from the "Sole Flounder" whose wonderful project has a "No Legal Threats" official policy--dating from 2004, and now routinely messed with by the notorious SlimVirgin. Hypocrites all of them.

Like you Im surprised they have tolerated this articles existence. They could have quite easily waived the not normally flag and deleted it regardless of the merits and then just blocked anyone who contested as they normally do.
