It looks like there was a post about an hour ago notifying the world that Katherine Maher the CEO of the Wikipedia foundation will be stepping down in April. If i had to make a guess given her background I would say she is accepting a job somewhere in supporting the Biden administration, but it's hard to say.

Re: Katherine Maher stepping down
it appears to me that she is trying to take some credit for this......thing. A huge clot of vague blather.

They have "Working Groups". Hope there's some working groping in them. Each one has, in addition to the requisite assortment of representatives from various national, ethnic and gender areas.......at least one or two prominent former/current arbitrators and well-known power abuser admins, plus "token" WMF employees. Starting with "Advocacy" and JImbo embedded therein. One of the "Diversity" group members is known only as "imacat". And "Roles And Responsibilities" has three people that I would not call "responsible" by any insane delusional stretch: Anne Clin, Kirill Lokshin, and Chris Keating.

Still a freak show. Really wish they would stop calling it a "Movement". Because I keep wanting to put "Bowel" in front of it.
So long, Katherine! No one will miss you!
