For those who recall text adventures, here's what some Wikipedia fan put together:http://kevan.org/wikitext/.
The "adventures" don't really have a plot, there're no puzzles to solve, no high score to attain. They just put you at a real world place and you can wander around (N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, etc.) and read information. The author put in pictures vaguely reminiscient of early computer graphics.
I don't know why even Wikipedia needed to be associated with this. Just take the data (whether it's right or wrong) from Wikipedia and put it in your own thing. That's totally legal with Wikipedia content, correct.

I am "Modsquad" here, and participate, but I don't want you to think we can't have an angry argument.

I dunno who that guy is, but this game was developed in-house at the WMF. From the Jake Orlowitz article on the book wiki:
He also became friendly with Derrick Coetzee, leading to their successful WMF grant to develop a children's game called "The Wikipedia Adventure"; given Coetzee's history, this could not be more ironic.

Exciting! You know, I am so curious for that other new Wiki game, Wikipediakiller, designed by Ziko van Dijk, and announced on WMC 2017. Because that can be a fascinating game!.
I mean, with bot fights, article destroyers, internation contests like: which wiki chooses the most foolish Arb this year, or who fixt the best job with his IQ under the ninety with his wiki CV. Or who wrote the software what made the most damage. Well, and after the internation copyvio contest you finish with a enorm mushroom, with a spectacular sound effect. That is what you call a wiki game! Zigro is genius!
(Presentation, it's a idea to start a new wiki under the WMF umbrella. Poor plan, as long WMF is involved, it will end up in a chaos.)

Re: Pseudo Text Adventure Website, the Guy had Time on his H
The original Wikipedia Adventure address.
It appears to be a failure. A few teachers tried to use it as an instructional tool but I see no signs of its regular use since 2015. Ah, if only those teachers knew who Derrick Coetzee is.....not to mention Demiurge1000, who had a VERY creepy history. See the list of participants on older revs.
