from KiwiFarms "Dumb shit on Wikipedia" thread:
I find it so strange that wikipedia refuses to update their biggest box office bombs list to include 2023 movies even when it's at the end of the year. Hmm I wonder why?
sure enough the talk page
is now 151,850 bytes (a lot of it could be large tables) and has six archives.
this section about
The Marvels is representative of the discourse. how they arrived at $90 million is anyone's guess.

Next up: "list of good movies". Gold locked because people keep adding" bad" movies.
"Globally banned" since September 5, 2023 for exposing harassment.

Created in 2009 and a constant target for the most severe ADHD victims in Wikiland. Masem being in there is not a good sign.

As the article notes, Tinseltown is notorious for "creative accounting" to screw people out of profit sharing. So this list is likely to be full of things that were massively profitable, in places OTHER than North American theaters.
PS the
biggest editor of this list is a real nut. Paid?

Another article is an example of Wikipedia wrong priorities. Whatever films make at the box office is irrelevant.
