Thanks to his ego and desire to punish those who disobey his commands as Lord Administrator of Wikipedia, after ensuring an editor receives an indefinite TBAN from closing discussions at WP:CR, he has created a culture of fear where editors are afraid to close discussions. The backlog at WP:CR only grows.
I mean, people aren't stupid. Why should they want to help when their good faith efforts might result in a site ban? Administrators like Voorts don't need to bother with things like close reviews or consensus, they can simply take the matter straight to ANI where another Administrator will agree with them and do whatever Voorts asks in the OP of the ANI.
Voorts' account is two years old, either he is connected, has undeclared sockpuppets or is simply a prodigious editor who became an Admin on merit alone.

Show us some links as evidence. Don't just come to this forum to moan because you fought with an admin and lost.WikiWikiWow wrote: ↑Tue Mar 18, 2025 11:57 amThanks to his ego and desire to punish those who disobey his commands as Lord Administrator of Wikipedia, after ensuring an editor receives an indefinite TBAN from closing discussions at WP:CR, he has created a culture of fear where editors are afraid to close discussions. He is a lawyer, so of course Voorts is an abusive block-happy admin.........so, which one were you?

Re: Intrepid Administrator Voorts
Well, here's [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia ... Fort_Moore] an example of Voorts blocking an editor [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?ti ... =168377785] after having a dispute with them. I don't care if it's wikipedia policy, but a decent person wouldn't take admin action when they're involved.
Looks like Voorts isn't happy with ScottishFinnishRadish's close of a move review in which Voorts participated [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk ... quest_at_T]. Of course SFR didn't close it the way Voorts voted. "Would you mind expanding on..." very polite. SFR has made edits since that talk page comment, I don't think Voorts is the type of person who likes being ignored. I wonder how long he'll wait before he starts an ANI thread on it.
