The latter.
Alright. How many other wikis besides Meta Wiki and English Wikipedia is affected by the leak?
Basically all WMF wikis.
I see. Does the time span of the deleted articles along with revdelled and oversighted contents goes from the time of Wikipedia's creation, which is year 2001, until now?

Yes, but coverage varies significantly.

Thanks a lot, but I might need to rephrase another earlier question. Was the leak done by simply accessing Wikipedia's databases or something similar through browsers and/or so on, where "hundreds of gigabytes of sensitive information" were downloaded? Are stolen passwords involved in the process of exfiltrating the data? Or did it just involves some social engineering or API misconfigurations on Wikimedia's backend?

I can't say publicly right now.

Let's rephrase it again. Has any kind of "privilege escalation", which is a cybersecurity parlance to describe a situation where privileged access into a system is actually unauthorized or abnormal, occurred during the course of the leak?
