A friend is talking about this guy in private emails. He's a "political pundit" from northern Virginia who lies like a rug about his "career". And is an idiot, but what the hell.
http://www.vfrw.org/news/Oct.%202016%20 ... 0Color.pdf> He has enough ego, narcissism, and overinflated opinion of his own talents to qualify as a host....it is impossible to convince him of anything that doesn't fit his worldview and/or comfort zone. The latter's envelope is entirely neurotic in origin.
My comments:
A slot on a campus station doesn't qualify as "syndication". But hey, he's getting away with it.
This is a major issue with our so-called "civilization". A pathological liar goes around promoting himself aggressively and twisting the truth; if he finds enough supporters, at some point he becomes an "actual expert". Political punditry would be totally different if a degree in pol-sci or journalism or a related area was an absolute requirement--which it was at one time. Remember the old TV network Sunday political talk shows like Face The Nation? In the 1970s they would not have DREAMED of giving airtime to the likes of Tomi Lahren or Sean Hannity or Ann Coulter. Or Keith Olbermann or Cenk Uygur for that matter.
Just remember, the change occurred when Ronald Reagan got to the White House. He removed the FCC's "Fairness Doctrine" and otherwise "liberalized" media regulation, paving the way for shrieking anti-liberal media outlets, plus Christian extremism and the like. And the general veneration of ignorance and idiocy in America today. "Gosh darn those durned experts and their fancy college degrees" etc.
Fox News is full of people who pulled it off, Limbaugh and Alex Jones built corporate empires on it, Jimbo Wales did it, etc. etc.
PS, the other day John Oliver did a segment on Alex Jones. And people are "surprised". Hah.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyGq6cjcc3QIt's all vaudeville. That's all it is. It might destroy our country, but too bad. Idiots love it.

And speaking of Alex Jones....he's got a little problem.
https://gizmodo.com/as-advertisers-flee ... 1823495431This is kind of dickish--not all of his viewers believe what he says, many treat him as "entertainment". Why deny them the pleasure of watching a sweaty middle-aged white man as he throws tantrums in front of a camera, then tries to push his own products? (There's also an old joke that Infowars is like Limbaugh; a lot of their listeners are actually pissed-off liberals watching it because it makes them feel sick. Lol.)

The truth about Ponch McPhee:
Back in 2012, he was a blowhard editor of a
newsletter (!) called “The Constitutional Conservatives”, a subcomponent of the
Greene County Republican Committee of Virginia. In March of that year he wrote
this column that said the following:
We have before us a challenge to remove an ideologue unlike anything world history has ever witnessed or recognized.
An individual who has come to power within a Nation which yields it’s strength over the entire world.
An elected leader who shuns biblical praise, handicaps economic ability, disrespects the honor of earned military might.
In the coming days and weeks ~ we the people must come to grasp as a common force, our very soul’s, that our future as a sovereign nation is indeed at risk.
If every single individual that you know, would contact 25 other individuals ~ we can make a difference that will be heard across the Commonwealth and in Washington.
The ultimate task for the people is to remain vigilant and aware ~ that the government, their government is out of control, and this moment, this opportunity, must not be forsaken, must not escape us, for we shall not have any coarse but armed revolution should we fail with the power of the vote in November ~ This Republic cannot survive for 4 more years underneath this political socialist ideologue.
They yanked the .pdf of the newsletter, and "Ponch" lost his shot at being a lunatic scribbler at Ben Schapiro's
Daily Wire.
Still "Globally Banned" on Wikipedia for the high crime of journalism.

??
I've managed to dig up a copy of the original newsletter. It's really stupid in general.
My favorite part is this apparent attempt to interest the wives in their anti-Obama ravings:
