We are at 3,367 views this month; we got 4,455 last month. The Blogspot graph is split into 3,500-view chunks as far as I can tell - I never broke the 7,000-view ceiling - I got close a few winters ago when some German news site linked to my older post on 3apes and Search Bastard, the sites Wales ran for a profit before Nupedia/Wikipedia took off - that link netted me 6,913 views.

Would still love to know who in the hell is watching that blog. Not much would surprise, although I suspect loads of them are clicks from Wikipedians who saw blog posts on IRC or in private discussions. (And hell no, they will never admit looking at it. "Everything in Wiki Land is happy happy happy.")

Yes, because the only spaces complaining about Wikipedia are blogs, and they are few and far between. Very few bloggers talk about how screwed up Reddit is, and criticism of YouTube as a platform is left to a number of YT commenters whenever things change for the worst - as far as I know, there is no "Criticizing YouTube as a Platform" show on YouTube.
Meanwhile the idiots running Reddit decided that the snarky communist subreddit FullCommunism was somehow offensive or some jazz so it's now under "quarantine" - here is FC's thread on the situation.

Thread on RedditCritiques, they did the same for a load of subreddits at the same time.

Just like Wikipedia, Reddit pulls dirty tricks in private. I expect they quarantined r/fullcommunism because some Reddit employee didn't personally like them....petty and trivial shit at all times. "Free speech, until you annoy us".
