The WP article says the warrant was renewed at least twice. Depending on when in July it was issued it might still be in effect. I hope an active FISA warrant wasn't leaked.
I wondered about the 90 day period too.
In other news, I see the Daily Mail has settled with Melania Trump. I suppose that was inevitable, but I was rather hoping they would defend the suit.
The Guardian reported "specific concrete and corroborative evidence of collusion." (link to tweet)
Yes, saw that. Out of my pay grade... (just jesting, honest).
Louise is now predicting the first arrests next week. Her source is another Twitter illuminati (am I using that word right, not sure) @SheWhoVotes, who's supposed to have a good track record. Out of curiosity I looked at her feed and was amused by the " Nein to Hair Führer" that appears in her description pane.
Am I going to be able to live an ordinary life again once this is all over?

If something worthy of impeachment (other than what is already known) does emerge, most of the Congressional GOP have not yet publicly split with Trump. We could be looking at political mayhem here until the new Congress is seated in early 2019. Hopefully, the midterm elections with pressure the GOP to move forward on impeachment if the evidence implicates Trump (more than it already does).

Ha ha. Ha.
Get used to it, this is how American politics is gonna be as long as the baby boomers control the voting booths. Things can only get dumber and more corrupt before they improve. The idiot boomers got what they wanted, a cartoon character in the WH, and now they will shriek for heads on pikes and other idiocy. Either they die out and some actual reform occurs (please don't tell me it's impossible, a raft of abuses were outlawed after Watergate), or the USA slowly slides into Brazil levels of insane. The movie AND the country.

I disagree that "Things can only get dumber and more corrupt before they improve"; Trump is being fought constantly by the Justice department and constantly exposed by media. People are in the mode that his government can vanish overnight because unlike Nixon, his crimes have been known since right after he was sworn in and the evidence is growing all the time. The problem is that Pence is in this as well, so it creates the Constitution crisis that we could use the 25th Amendment to yank Trump out of the White House, but his replacement is as involved with the scam as Trump was, so it's no real punishment. Keith Olbermann has brought up the spectre of NOT riding out Trump's time by having, say, Paul Ryan replace Trump and Pence, but just having another national election as soon as possible, even though that opens all sorts of precedents:
Pareene's thesis is that there were two kinds of conservative media in the old days and Trump, in order to appeal to what we used to call the Tea Party Republicans, decided to swallow whole the stuff they create for the Proles of the Party: Fox News and Breitbart, instead of the Inner Party journals likeThe Weekly Standard, The Wall Street Journal, and National Review and in doing so has become America's crazy cable-news grandfather, you know, the guy nobody likes having over for Christmas because he calls Jews "sheenies" and complains about Obama. Trump used to be a boring New York City Democrat who read the Grey Lady and USA Today and sounded somewhat smart for five minutes but you let him speak for twenty and the egotism would pour out in rivers, and that narcissism found a dark reflection in the prolefeed of Fox and Friends. What I really like is that Pareene mentions that Rick Pearlstein Baffler piece "The Long Con" that I linked to in the old "Criticism of Libertarianism" thread on the old board.
Still "Globally Banned" on Wikipedia for the high crime of journalism.

Nice quote from that article:
If the bullshit-peddlers who attached themselves to Trump truly want to remake the nation—beyond making it meaner in the areas in which it is already pretty persistently mean, or beyond simply raining death down upon foreigners with even less regard for casualties or consequences than evinced by prior administrations—they’re screwed. They’re screwed because they and their predecessors engineered a perpetual misinformation machine, and then a bunch of people addicted to their product took over the government.
Last, but not least, the FBI and the Congressional team should investigate Sebastian Gorka, Bannon’s „terrorism expert” and a man with a 15 year connection to anti-American, pro-Russian, pro-Iranian radicals in Hungary.
By marrying an American multimillionaire, a Trump campaign donor with connections in high places, Gorka managed to secure access to the White House on behalf of forces, that, are diametrically opposed to America’s national interests.

Yes saw that, but haven't studied it. I think Louise questioned it. I saw some students gave Gorka a hard time yesterday. Well, he's all bluster. I doubt he can survive WH intrigue for long.
I'm fully invested in some mathematical investigations I am undertaking. Might be weeks or months away, even longer. Will look back from time to time. I enjoy this forum. Incidentally I noticed today that JImbo has rolled out what looks like a revamped version of his failed Wikinews project. This new one dedicated to stamping out "fake news". I'm not optimistic...
