Look, everybody has the right to be against whatever he op she wants. But, if a organisation as WMF/wikipedia is claiming to be against fake news and a Trustee is spreading only the Pirate Party vision is that wrong. That is very wrong! That stinks!
Article 13 is not direct about copyright, it is not even about filters. It is about who is responsible for copyright violation in the future and there is a exception for private persons, encyclopaedias and small internet enterprises. So, it doesn't affect neither private persons and Wikipedia in theory. And spreading copyvio in Europe on a large scale is even a crime, so where are we talking about? About piracy. Article13 is against piracy.
The fear is big internet firms will choose to filter copyright out, but that is all speculation. Nothing is clear till now.
And nothing is still for sure. Article13 must first pass the EP, then it must be implanted in the national legalisations.
