Why are Wikipedians so impressed with this guy's technical skills? His talk page is just one long list of bug reports, all apparently bugs being discovered in software that is already live. To be fair, he does make sure to clarify what tools are still being beta tested, but in a place like Wikipedia, where the one eyed man truly is King, that really doesn't mean anything, because any old fuckwit will just grab it and use it....

And given that link, seeing this was hilarious......
The guy seems too much of a flake to have achieved anything significant for the cause of Wikipedia coding.Ritchie wrote:I think it's silly that I have the interface admin right and Enterprisey doesn't
It goes against all these theories that Wikipedia editors are largely geeks, people who could surely tell when someone is simply blinding the simpletons with science, unless, of course, this RfA is nothing more than just some kind of reward for dedication and attitude, as opposed to a balanced assessment of the risk versus rewards of granting Adminship to someone whose technical skills were genuinely as good as is being claimed or perceived.
